1.2. Transaction Data: We collect details of your savings, loan applications, repayments, withdrawals, and all financial transactions conducted through the App.

1.3. Device Information: We may collect information about the device (only when you report a bug or issue while using the app) you use to access the App, device type, and operating system, to ensure security and improve performance and your experience with the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1. Service Provision: To process your transactions, manage your savings and loans, maintain your membership records, and provide customer support.

2.2. Communication: To send you transaction alerts, loan reminders, important SACCO announcements, and promotional offers (with your consent).

2.3. Credit Assessment: To evaluate your loan eligibility, assess risk profile, and make informed lending decisions.

2.4. Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations regarding Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOs) in Kenya, including the SACCO Societies Act and regulations by SASRA (SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority).

2.5. Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve our App features and member services.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

3.1. Internal Use: Your information is shared with SACCO Administrators and authorized staff for management and operational purposes.

3.2. Third-Party Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third parties who assist us in operating the App (e.g., payment processors, SMS gateways, cloud storage providers), subject to strict confidentiality agreements.

3.3. Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., law enforcement, regulatory bodies).

3.4. Credit Reference Bureaus: We may share your credit information with licensed Credit Reference Bureaus in Kenya as permitted by law.

3.5. With Your Consent: We may share your information with other parties when you have given explicit consent.

4.1. We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls.

4.2. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7.1. Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without parental consent.

8.1. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email.

8.2. Your continued use of the App after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
